• David Lawson - Lead pastor/elder

    Dave has been married to Kim for 26 years and they have 3 children, two away at college. After a background in architecture, Dave was a youth pastor for 5 years before becoming a lead pastor for the past 20 years.  He considers the 80’s to be the pinnacle of human development, especially in the fields of fashion and music, and loves sport, spending time with his family, and singing loudly to power ballads.  Dave is passionate about making Biblical truth accessible, and developing leaders to fulfill the mission of the church.

  • Chuck Keplar - Associate Pastor

    Chuck has been married to his wife Jeanette for over 22 years and they have 7 children, some of whom they've adopted through the local foster system.  Chuck is an avid football fan, a youth football coach and loves alternative rock from the 90’s.  Chuck was a contractor and stay at home dad before being called to ministry as our Associate Pastor 3 years ago.  Chuck loves coaching people, helping them to experience God in new and transforming ways.

  • Ben kingdon - Youth Pastor

    Ben and Ashley grew up in Memphis, and were married in 2008, a year after they moved to Florida to help plant a church.  After 9 years of serving as a Children’s Pastor they came to join us in the Pacific Northwest.  Ben loves to connect with people and talk about God’s work in their lives.  He enjoys music, podcasts, reading, video games and spending time with Ashley and their two young children.

  • Michelle Ross - children's pastor

    Michelle was a Speech Language Pathologist for 18 years while volunteering in Children’s Ministry before becoming our Children’s Pastor four years ago.  She loves introducing children and their families to Jesus and helping them grow in their relationship with him.  Married to Dan, they have two daughters, and she loves to read, quilt, bake and craft.  Her favorite song—besides Confidence by Sanctus Real—is any Kids Camp song!

  • joe kisselburgh - worship pastor

    Joe and Alex have been married for 11 years and have two gorgeous daughters.  He’s been a worship leader for the past 6 years, half that time also leading a young adults ministry.  Joe loves to read and one of his favorite hobbies is learning new barbecuing techniques.  What most people don’t know about Joe is that in his previous life as a professional musician he traveled to every U.S. state other than Alaska and Hawaii.

  • Kathi rosumny - Church administrator

    Married to Scott for 24 years, Kathi has two sons and a boxer dog.  Kathi was an elementary school teacher before becoming a children’s pastor and now holds everything together as our incredibly overqualified Office Administrator.  She loves supporting others in their roles and on their journeys.  Kathi’s into reading, being at the beach, going to sporting events with her family, and is a big fan of the Gilmore Girls and Chipotle.

  • Kim lawson - community outreach

    Kim’s been married to Dave for 26 years and has three kids to show for it.  They’re almost empty-nesters with two already at college.  Kim’s volunteered since her teens, leading a variety of ministries, and is passionate about encouraging people to learn and apply Gods Word to their daily lives.  Kim loves to read, paint, garden, sunbathe, and drink good coffee.

  • Dan ross - integration

    Dan is a professional businessman who’s been married to Michelle for over 23 years and they have 2 children.  He’s been actively involved in church most of his life and loves to meet people, helping them feel at home at church and connecting them with others.  Dan’s into hiking and international missions and says he’ll never be caught listening to country music!

  • Lance boyce - men's ministry

    Married to Shelly Boyce, with four kids—one in the Air Force and another at college—Lance describes himself as ‘a dude that found Jesus in his late 20’s while in the armed services and just like to help out where I can’.  A former attack helicopter pilot in the Army, Lance is now a business leader who’s a sports nut with a huge passion for fly fishing, and tries to hit a golf ball whenever he can.  He coached baseball for 12 years and loves to root for the Ducks, the Army Black Knights and the Cowboys – “America’s Team”!

  • Chris Totland - Leadership development

    Chris is a business leader passionate about developing leaders.  Chris began her journey of faith when the birth of her first child made her realize that life had to be more than a scientific equation.  Her family Christmas card includes her husband Michael, daughter, son, step-daughters and husbands with multiple ‘grand-dogs’.  Crafting and party planning are creative outlets, and every Friday night you’ll find Chris at a high school football game because it’s her favorite sport ever since she grew up in a farm-town community.

  • Jim Adams - elder

    Jim’s a true lumberman, having spent his entire career in lumber sales.  He and Julie have been married for 26 years, and have three children, the youngest a senior at Mountain View High School.  Jim’s lost the long hair and surfing lifestyle of his teenage years in Southern California, but still loves 60’s and 70’s rock, military history, and making young people look silly on the basketball court.

  • Jason blanchard - Elder

    Jason grew up in Newark, CA, as the youngest child, in a busy family of four.  At Simpson College he met the love of his life, Melissa, on his first day on campus.  Two weeks after graduation they were married.  After about 6 years in San Jose, CA, they moved to Vancouver, WA,  where they still live with three children.  Jason owns a financial planning business with his brother.  He’s passionate about serving his community, volunteering at the Evergreen School District Foundation, coaching youth basketball, and serving at East Park.

  • Brian yoho - Elder

    Brian’s been married to Holly almost 20 years.  Brian was a youth pastor and intern for about 10 years, and has been involved with leading youth for almost 30 years.  He’s a middle school teacher, a huge Timbers fan, he loves to read sci-fi/fantasy novels, and plays disc golf and Pokemon with their son Nikk.  His favorite singers are Frank Sinatra and Michael Buble and he’d play Christmas music all year if he could get away with it!  His claim to fame is hanging out with the Night Court cast, and visiting the UK and Ireland are on his bucket list.

  • Neil salstrom - elder

    Neil is an original!  He’s been part of East Park church since it was planted in ’97, joining shortly after moving down from Seattle.  He’s helped and led several bible studies and ministries in this time, and joined the Elders three years ago.  Neil’s been married to Beth for over 15 years and they have two children, Alex and David.  He loves being outdoors and is happiest when he’s with family at the ocean, in the river or lost in the woods somewhere!  And no matter what he’s doing he thinks everything is better with coffee.

  • Jeronimo cruz - elder

    Jeronimo was born in Guatemala, where he graduated from a junior military academy.  He graduated from Oregon State University and after college started working for Kiewit Construction, the company he still works for.  He and Rebecca married in 2000.  They have two teenage daughters, two small boys, and two kittens, and they joined East Park in 2015.  He loves spending time with his family, the outdoors, beekeeping, exercising, audiobooks, working on his project car, and mentoring young people. 

  • Buck gaines - elder

    Buck became a follower of Jesus shortly after he and Michelle married in 1994.  They have two adult children and dozens of animals on their rural property.  He’s been an elder for ages and serves on the sound board.  Buck loves his San Francisco Giants and is a big Formula 1 fan.  He’s a big classic rock fan and his favorite food is traditional Mexican with the hot plates and everything running together.  But we all know Buck loves every food group—you’ve got to be quick when Buck’s around or he’ll hoover it all!
