Prayer and Fasting

Prayer and fasting is not a command, it’s a voluntary act of abstaining from something in order to focus on prayer and fellowship with God. It forces us to focus and rely on God for the strength, provision, and wisdom we need. Prayer and fasting is not a way of manipulating God to do what you want. God only promises to answer our prayers when we ask according to His will (1 John 5:14-15). Prayer and fasting without the proper heart attitude is futile (Isaiah 53:3-9). But if we humble ourselves and seek God’s will, we will know and experience His will for us (2 Chronicles 7:14, James 1:5). That’s why we’re asking you to join us in fasting and praying during the week of September 12th through September 18th. As a church we are going to seek God together with the goal of aligning ourselves with His will, so that we will know and experience His plans for us this next 12 months.

We are people who believe in the power of prayer.  We understand that God wants us to present our requests to Him, He wants us to gather and pray for each other.

We have a prayer team, staff and elders available to pray with you during worship at the end of each of our services.

On the Sunday bulletin is a connection card that you can submit prayer requests on.  Our staff and prayer team pray for these prayer requests weekly.

If there is something that we can be praying for, please let us know here.
